Childrens Playgrounds in Nueva Andalucia, Puerto Banus, Marbella, Estepona

One thing I miss here, now that I have a child, are Parks.

In England there are parks and open spaces everywhere with fantastic playgrounds for the kids. Here, if you are a tourist, you probably wont find them!

Its quite upsetting that for the whole of Puerto Banus, there is just one small play area for the kids. If you are facing the sea, it is situated to the left of the port, going towards Marbella. Just pass La Pesquera restaurant. I know many people who have come here on holiday regularly and had no idea it was there!

In Marbella, there are quite a few playgrounds when you walk along by the sea. The best one is in Marbella is in "Parque de la Constitution" . There is also an open air theatre, which has shows during the summer months. This summer I must book to see a show! The telephone number for the open air theatre in Marbella is 952 825 035.

In Nueva Andalucia, the only playgrounds I can find are around the area "La Campana". La Campana is a very Spanish area, with lots of restaurants and all the local amenities, schools, post office, nurserys, language schools etc.

Estepona Park is probably the best playground I have seen on the Costa del Sol so far. Its located along the sea front, opposite the old town. It has lots of different play areas for all different ages.

If anyone has found any other playgrounds in the area, I would love to hear from you.
