Tarifa

I was just posted a comment by Lu on my Gibraltar page who mentioned about the view of North Africa from Gibraltar.

View of North Africa from Tarifa
It reminded me of some fantastic photos I took when we went to Tarifa when we first moved here. I did say to Lu, I will try and find them and put them up on my blog for all to see. So here they are.

Tarifa Beach

Tarifa is about 1hour drive from Nueva Andalucia and definately worth a visit. The beaches are amazing and well worth the drive at the weekend to sunbath. Its a very "cool", "trendy", "hippyish" place and a surfers paradise.

View from Tarifa
Lots of places to eat, theres a really good pizza pasta restaurant on the main street going down towards the port. There is also a pedestrianised area with lots of restaurants and a childrens playarea a few minutes walk in towards the town.

Hi Jo, Tarifa is my favorite place in the world! I spent a month there last summer. Take advantage of your close proximity, because I live in San Diego, California. Enjoy yourself
