Istan

On Saturday, first of all we went to Terasana in Marina Banus. There is a small play area for the kids, so this is my new haunt.

Then we walked to the Playground area, I wish I could call it a Park, but its just a slide, steps and a couple of climbing things. Thats what we get for all our taxes we pay in Puerto Banus!!!

My little girl need a sleep so we took a drive up to Istan which is about 25 minutes from Nueva Andalucia / Puerto Banus.

Istan is our escape to what I call "Real Spain". Its a small little white Spanish Village where everyone seems old...sitting around on benches smoking!

However, they are also very kind. I saw one of the men closing his market stall of fruit...he had loads of avocados which my daughter just loves. I asked if I could buy a few....well he loaded me up so much they were falling everywhere....wouldnt take any money!

Then we take our empty plastic water bottles and drive just a little way past the town and fill our bottles up with fresh water....its such a lovely thing to do...feels so natural!

There is also a park passed the town right on the cliff edge.

Just sitting there breathing iin the fresh air, you feel a million miles away....lovely
