Paloma Park, Benalmadena, Parks on Costa del Sol

Today we had a lovely day...didnt start off too good as someone went straight into the back of our car at Puerto Banus Roundabout....2nd time in 3 weeks and we werent even moving.

Anyway, started of at Selwo Marina, Benalmadena which was really good, very quiet to what we are normally used to. Benalmadena Market was on too.

Then a friend of ours told us about the park opposite, we have seen it before, but never been.

FANTASTIC and BEAUTIFUL..... a huge park with chickens and rabbits all running around everywhere, 2 brilliant playground areas a couple of cafes, a large lake to feed ducks, bird avery, and small section with goats.

Its was beautiful and cant beleive we havent been there before. Living in the Uk, there are parks everywhere, but here in Marbella there isnt, so to drive for 35 mins does sound mad to go to a park, but its lovely.

Walking around all the animals running around, strange.

We saw a little strange episode as we always do, in the park, were 2 little boys with their mum or grandma, one had hold of a large white rabbit and the other a tiny little chick. We were certain they were going to steel them. After alot of playing around they put the large white rabbit into a Mercadona Plastic Bag....at this point all the other English people couldnt beleive what they were seeing....i said come on, i cant watch this, lets go tell security.

Anyway as fast as I could get up this other woman went over to the people and pulled the animals away from them and there was a right argument....now normally this is me, but great to see someone else do it for a change.

Then there were big shouts going on...we walked up to the kiosk to tell her to get security, i told her what was happening and she seemed not tooo surprised.

So after that fiasco, took a drive to Plaza Mayor in Malaga quick bite to eat and look in the Nike Factory, then drove home stopping at the butchers in Calahonda to get some sausages, but they had sold out, so got some other bits instead.

Thats my day!
