Review of Andalucia Plaza Hotel Nueva Andalucia/ Puerto Banus, Marbella

Before I tell you about the Andalucia Plaza Hotel, Im writing this to remind myself about Alpharooms. I am always the one to book hotels for our holidays. I always start by going to Alpharooms as I find them the cheapest. Being determined as I am I then spend hours trying to find a better deal and I dont! I always start with Alpharooms and end with Alpha Rooms, so this is also a little reminder for me to just book and stop wasting time!

The Andalucia Plaza Hotel is in Nueva Andalucia, which is really close to Puerto Banus. It has recently been remodernised and we quickly went in to have a look and have to say was more than impressed. It always had the most impressive entrance lobby as it was huge, but it was rather dated with the beige and goldy colours. Now its bright and fresh and even though its just a few minutes walk from me I wouldnt mind staying there myself. Andalucia Plaza has many restaurants on its doorstep and is brilliantely located for the Puerto Banus Market on Saturdays. To walk into Puerto Banus there is a tunnel from the hotel and it will be about a 5 / 8 minute walk to Puerto Banus.

I have known many people to stay here previously before the remodernisation including my parents in law. They love it especially getting half board where they dont have to worry about going out to eat. However, it was very popular with Stag and Hen Weekends and they did suffer a couple of nights noise...but they didnt complain and Im sure that if they did the noise would have been sorted or they would have been offered to move rooms. Most nights there is some kind of entertainment.

So you can get an idea of how big the hotel is there are 201 standard rooms, 141 superior rooms, 45 junior suites superior and 13 junior suites standard. There is also lobby bar with live music, bar Naturalia by the swimming pool, 3 swimming pools (1 indoor and heated) and Internet Corner. There is also a Casino in the Hotel which is great fun if you dont loose too much! This is the indoor pool and you can book a wide range of beauty treatments too.

This is the Entrance to the hotel. Opposite and to either side are restaurants of different types, Spanish, International, Italian.
The driving journey from Malaga Airport is approx 45 minutes. If you dont want to drive or use public transport then you can look at getting a Private Transfer from Malaga Airport to Andalucia Plaza Hotel

Alternatively, why not get a cheap quote for Malaga Car Hire. The price of a return journey by Taxi or Transfer sometimes isnt alot different, in some cases more expensive than Hiring a Car especially in Low and Mid Season.

So if you are looking for a great deal at Andalucia Plaza Hotel then Book Now!

Thank you! This is the first positive review I have seen and was beginning to get a little worried as I am staying there in April for 5 days and have heard stories of "lady's of the night" visiting and all sorts!
