Hi JoLove your site, full of helpful info. Was wondering if anyone had done a car boot sale. Despite giving away tons of stuff over the years, I still have a lot of baby/toddler/under 5´s clother, toys, etc.all in really good cond. Can you just turn up somewhere and sell your things as per UK?Would be grateful of any assistance.many thanks.Avril
Hi Avril There are a few car boot sales around, tivoli world, fuengirola and sabanillas. I havent done one yet but do know people that have. You apparently have to get there very early. Best to go to Say Sabanillas Market one sunday have a look and ask people there...there were lots of english peope there when I went. If you do one let me know what its like. Regards Joanne

Car boot sales on the Costa del Sol tend to be a mix of car boot and market like Sabanillas. This means the market traders have the best reserved pitches and you have to get up and be there at about 2am. No joke!
The best one I have done is La Trocha, Coin on Sundays which is undercover in the car park of the shopping centre. Its really good because it is known as a car boot sale so you get people coming to browse and also you dont have to be there until 8am which is so much more civilised. Kids clothes and electrical items will be snapped up by the Moroccans early on. But dont be pressurized into selling too early too cheap, families come late morning for a wander with the kids.
