My husband just came back from the UK and bought another Gadget. Hes turned gadget mad. But his ipod did get stolen in Portugal and he did need one.
Anyway, as you may remember we were thinking about getting blackberrys, but to be honest the tariffs seemed so expensive and the thought of using it in the UK with the costs of Roaming...we decided against it.
I also decided that do I really need to be checking emails when out and about....no.
But he bought an Apple Touch....which has music, videos but also you can check your email and surf the internet too.....if you find wifi. If the wifi is free then you dont have to pay a thing for surfing the internet unless you pay for the wifi. Thats so much easier than all the different tariffs out there for Internet and the many horror stories I have heard of people leaving it on by accident whilst abroad...their bill have been hundreds.
This he bought in duty free for 199 pounds I think. I reakon that had we bought a phone with internet tariff we would have spent that in probably 2 months bills between us.
Im very impressed and I dont normally do gadgets.
So get a phone and if you need internet but dont want to chance the phone bills...get an Apple i Touch.
