Horse Riding in Marbella

Horseriding is not as easy as it looks. My daughter has been going for quite a while now and even got to the stage where she was completely alone, but one day the horse went a little crazy and frightened her.

But now I decided it would be nice for just me and her to have some time together so Im taking lessons to. OMG its really hard and also a little scary.

Im on a little horse but I still feel so high up. Today there were loads of flies around his face which I think was peeing him off a little as he just kept moving around in the wrong direction - well thats my excuse, not the fact that maybe I wasnt holding the reigns right.

It was very hot, I was wearing jeans to which were quite slippery, as I jumped up and on I nearly slid right off the other side.

But all in all good fun and lovely to do something together.

Im looking for cheap jodpurs and boots if anyone has! Or it will be a trip to decathlon.

Any idea if there is a horse/rider equipment store in the area?

theres a shop within estepona equestrian centre - not cheap.

In Malaga and Algeciras there is Decathlon. This is a fab shop and has a great horse department.

I bought my little girl trousers for 14€ and boots for 12€ they also have hats and equipement for the horses too.

I heard there is one in Marbella but have not found this.

If you do please let me know.

thanks! I was just looking for the one in Marbella a few days ago, but didn't find it. Will try again when I'm back in December. I'm looking for some locally handcrafted things for the daughter. I know there is more towards Jerez, but it would be handy to find a store near Nueva. I'll try your suggestions
