Friday Night I took my husband and daughter to the Golden Sun Restaurant in Benavista. I have been there twice now and think its very good. The reason I found out is that they dont use monosodiumglutamate. I said they should have a huge sign saying "We Dont Use MSG"
As always the welcome was wonderful. We had a lovely table until a group of 5 drunk men came in. I was tired, hungry and had my little girl with me and didnt really like her listening to all the swearing coming out of their mouths so asked to move to another table. They were so drunk they didnt even notice.
We had a menu for 2 and shared it between 3 of us plus 1 extra course. Lots of good food and drink and it came to 45euros.
My daughter 6 years old absolutely loved making the duck pancakes - she has never eaten them before and Ive never seen her eat something so fast.
Great service, great food!

We used to go quite regularly to it but it went very downhill a few years back so pleased to see it has recovered. Oddly enough our favourite Chinese now is another Golden Sun at Las Petunias behind Super Sol at the Ronda turnoff where all the roadworks begin at San Pedro as you leave Marbella.
