Just reading the Sur in English...I have never seen this paper so thin - theres hardly anything in it.
But they do have an article in there about El Corte Ingles opening a Kids Park in Marbella and also Mijas Costa. From 27th November until 5th January there are lots of fun activities to keep the kids amused. Its on the 4th floor in Marbella (i think the Puerto Banus One) and the 3rd floor in Mijas. They also say that the first hour is free if you buy something even if its only a newspaper or a packet of chewing gum.
Im not too sure now as its pretty quiet here with many people leaving but there was definately a call for a creche in La Cañada Shopping Centre.

Hi Jo,
Thanks for letting us know about the new creche facility. I popped along this morning and thought I would let you know a little bit more about it.
Its for 4+ only.
The space is entirely closed in and they have activity tables, face painting, visits from Santa etc.
They even have a playstation to play with!
The prices are great too, I think, 2.90 euros per hour and, like you say, if you purchase something, anything, you get an hour free.
You can leave the children there for up to 5 hours.
The opening times/days timetable is probably only marginally slightly less complicated to read than the Tokyo Underground system. But basically it is only open at the weekends until the schools break up 21st December and then it is open daily until 5th December.

Brilliant Nicky,
Thanks very much...great info.
Personally I think they could do with one all year round! Parents would stay there longer shopping!
