Smallworld Cafe Review

Those of you that read this blog will know I do like the food at  Smallworld Cafe which is in Le Village near Oliva Valeres Night Club.  Its not perfect but the food is good and consistant and its not a rip off...so thats why we go back.

We decided to take everyone from the office to Smallworld as there really is something for everyone.   There were 8 of us and think that everyone enjoyed their meal. The manager laid on a selection of starters which was great as we normally just stick to the Hummos....but we got to try everything including the chicken wings which were everyones favourite and the polenta chips.

For mains everyone had something different, on the specials were lamb  burgers which were delicious, some had the laksa which is a thai dish and also the seafood pasta...all the main coures were delicious.

For dessert, whilst it was hard to find room, we managed and had a selection of desserts and whilst all are great, the chocolate brownie wins hands down.

It was a friday night at the begining of December and it was busy in there and that was the thing that everyone enjoyed most...it was full and had a bit of life.

Smallworld have a boxing day and new years menu from 10, 15 & 20€ pp.

We took some friends to Smallworld Cafe Saturday Night....they hadnt been there before and we thought that coming from London they would like it. We call Smallworld our "London Food".

It was pretty busy in there as they had a big birthday party that night and the Rugby was on. But we had a table on the higher bit as you walked in. At first...I didnt really want to sit up there...I felt like I was sitting in someones living room with the telly on...but all the people watching were ok, studently, chilled out and after a few minute didnt even think where we were.

Kids had the pasta with pesto, I went for the burger, which is delicious but cant finish. There was also the Milanese, the Barbequed Chicken Pizza and the Terrayaki Salad....everyone loved their food. Im definately going for the duck or beef terrayaki salad next time...looked delicious.

The guys had 4 beers between them which is the El Bulli Beer at 5.50€uros each...not bad price really considering its 3.50 to buy in Hypercor.

Bill for 1 starter, 2 kids meals, 4 adults meals, all delicious and cant fault was 93€uros.

Last weekend we popped to Smallworld Cafe in Marbella. We had the chicken wings and quesadillas to start, followed by a pizza and laksa, chocolate brownie, water and the expensive beer (if you havent tried, you must!).

Everything was delicious. We all love the food here.

Bill was about 50€ for the 3 of us and we were all full and enjoyed it all.

Last year we had a Christmas Party there and the food and service was excellent. This year, we were very tempted to go back again, but felt we must try somewhere else.

Yesterday was back at Smallworld for a Ladies Lunch. It happened to be one of their favourite restaurants too.

There were 6 of us yesterday. 3 know Smallworld pretty well, the other 3 never been before...but guarantee they will probably return.

It was so busy yesterday and service did take a long time as expected. But the food came as it always comes....Smallworld is consistant which is why I love it so much.

Everyone had a different main course and they looked and tasted delicious. I had the chicken millanese with mozarella, which was absolutely delicious and huge.

Well done Smallworld, we got off to a bit of a bad start, but you really are our favourite restaurant.

Met some friends for lunch and yes, we took them to Smallworld. They were most impressed. I must stop recommending otherwise there will never be a table for me.

Was about an hour before food came by the time we sat down. Kids were getting hungry and agitated. But we were waiting for someone else to arrive.

Once food came though, exactly the same as it always is.

Just to confirm, we always pay for our meals, so

I really can't believe Im going to say something negative. Went to Smallworld last week...thursday night...We felt so old. It was full of young loud students from the the college. I don't mind students...but it was the loudness and the rudeness. Wasn't much fun and couldn't wait to leave :( Food was excellent though as always.
