Marlows Manilva

Yesterday, on recommendation we went to Marlows Fish & Chips in Manilva.  We were actually in Sotogrande hoping to go the pub there fore sunday lunch..but it was all shut up.  Dont know if just for re-decoration or shut up due to no money...i dont know.

Anyway went to Marlows and whilst the area, on the main road above Eroski...doesnt really do it for me....the food, the service, the price DOES.

The food was just what you ordered...nothin fancy...just plain good old grub.  Roast lunches, fish and chips, pies, sausages...all that kind of food.

The actual restaurant was great with booths to fit 6 or 8 people comfortably.

4 Adults, 3 Kids
2 Adult Sunday Lunchs
3 Kids Meals (sausage & chips, fish & chips, Sunday lunch)+
Scampi & Chips
Pie & Chips
4 delicious desserts
2 glasses of cava, beer, wine, coke, water, tea & 2 coffees.

81€uros.....

The fish and chips was excellent, personally better than Pegottys and tastes even better when nearly half the price.

Absolutely brilliant, thanks to eye on spain for recommending.  Anymore great restaurants?

Hi

I heard that the pub in Sotogrande is being taken over and turned into a brasserie
