Mil Milagros Review - Review of Mil Milagros Marbella

Yesterday we went to Mil Milagros.  We went with some friends who came along with 2 kids and a 50€uro note....yeah right!

Anyway, I´d phoned in the morning to reserve a table...telephone manner very nice, so thats the first good point.  On entering the restaurant we were seen to straight away.  No standing around like a lemon, offered where would we wish to sit.  We chose inside at the back.

We all loved the restaurant, considering a modern building, it had high ceilings and was decorated really nice.  I felt very comfortable and maybe "at home" there which is a very nice feeling.  Lovely and light too, I dont like dark places where you cant see what you are eating.

Waiter come straight away, gave menus and took drinks order.  Ordering...we took quite a while, simply because much of it sounded delicious and we couldnt make up our minds.  Also us "English" are funny buggers...we kind of like the idea of "sharing" but then having a "whole" meal to oneself often beats it.

To start we had a couple of dishes, the baby sausage casserole and the churros (fish churros).  Both absolutely delicious.  Really gorgeous flavours coming through both dishes.  The kids loved them too and next time would probably just get a plate of this for their mains.

For Mains, the kids shared a pizza.  Now the toppings were quite straight forward  and when it came, the mushroom one it didnt look that great, but did taste nice, although very salty.   I had the Oxtail Burger with Froi Gras, which was absolutely delicious and mouthwatering and very very messy to eat.  The other mains were burgers and the Rigitoni.  Everyone enjoyed their mains.

Then desserts....the men chose the Choco Pudding which came in a tin...the noises coming from their direction and then if I tell you that the tins were licked clean....need I say more.  Whilst us women shared a tiramisu....beautifully presented, very very light and fluffy and also delicious.

The service was great, the restaurants was great, the food was great...the bill......not bad really, but what does add it up are the cover charges at 2€ per person for bread...however very very delicious bread.

So before we started it was 14€uros.  Then quite a few drinks, 2 starters to share, 5 main courses, 3 desserts came to 144€uros for 4 adults 3 kids.

Would I go back again....YES

You must try the Churros and the Baby Sausage....absolutely delicious.
