Yesterday whilst in Puerto Banus buying school stuff I decided to treat my little girl to her favourite food....well one of her favourite foods...sushi.
Had it all planned, thought we´d take her to Sensations at 1pm. We phoned and the answerphone message said open 1pm.
Typical, get there, all excited and....it only opens in the evening through August.
So, quick thinking, I remember someone telling me about Uri Sushi in the Square in Puerto Banus. We went along and there were a few people inside. Now its not exactly Yo Sushi with bright colours or even Wasabi. In fact its rather dull. But, the food was really good.
We had numerous plates of sushi, 1 of fried prawns, 2 of the salmon fritters which were absolutely delicious, 2 portions of spring rolls which were all great and a few more plates of sushi and 3 soft drinks.
Bill was 51€uros and we were all stuffed.
Staff were good, food was good, value for money....I think pretty good!
Will I go again...Yes!

Went back here one night in the Summer, food was nice, but the next day I wasn´t very well. Infact, I was pretty ill the whole day. Maybe just a coincidence.
Yesterday we went back to Uri Sushi for my daughters birthday as its her favorite food.
We were the only ones in there. I ordered maki salmon and maki avocado. To be honest the presentation wasn´t good. Sushi should be beautiful and delicate. The salmon was far too thick and the seaweed wraps were very chewy, you couldn't eat them. Even my little girl wasn´t very impressed.
As soon as I left there, my stomach swelled and really hurt. I was up all night last night ill and all day today which is New Years Eve and my birthday. My birthday and new years eve celebrations completely ruined.
Three of us ate basically the same food and only I am ill. I do have an intolerance to Shell Fish so think there must have been some in something I ate or in the soya sauce.
Second time ill after visiting this restaurant. I won't be going back.
