Lately we have been finding ourselves at Benahavis Car Boot Sale Market on a Sunday. Last week I actually did my second boot sale. Had an awful position, but did sell a lot of stuff considering. For a few hours on a Sunday I was very happy with what I got, well worth getting up for. Its really busy now with loads of stalls and you do have to get there early to get in the best part of the market. Last week I arrived at 7.40 and was put at the very back extra bit where the sun is off it by 12 so its dark and cold and people don't really want to walk around that bit.
Today we got some bargains. Brand new puzzle for 2€, Fruitilandia which is a kids milkshake maker. My daughter has put this on her Christmas list every year for about 3 years now but at 40€ for some plastic I just wouldn't buy it. But found it today, boxed, if been used, only once for 2€uros. Batteries for it cost me 6! Then some great dessert glasses which I had been looking for.
Its quite a nice atmosphere, lots of people selling. There are some stall holders that really do just want to get rid of stuff (like me) and get rid of stuff cheap and then there are those that have stupid prices for a boot sale.
Definitely something for a Sunday in Marbella.
Follow the road to Benahavis and its on the right hand side. Sunday Morning from about 7 till 2.

Thank you for the tip. Is the market in the village or before?
HI Zorra,
Drive up the Benahavis Road from the N340. Continue up over the Roundabout where Mercadona is. Drive straight up and the market is before you get to the village on the right hand side. You can't miss it loads of cars.
